Visit of Thor at Petrie island

We decided my wife and i to go for a trip to Petrie island for some photo opportunity

the weather being so bad of late, all outside time becomes a premium .

The colour and mood was perfect for some HDR action the definition of the clouds and the distant rain stands out.

You can see the rain curtain dancing in the twilight of the evening, breath taking.

You can almost see Thor's chariot passing,  lightning appeared just after taking this shot.

A Gothic feel to this last shot , the power of nature in action.

The rally for life may 2011 in picture

This is a picture depiction of the rally for life that happened on Parliament hill

there is the same amount of pro life and pro choice photo in this blog

The hill was filling fast people from all walk of life but mostly kids nice day for a field trip

The pro choice ,trying to get there point across outnumbered and pushed back by the law

A pro life showing his support but not his enthusiast

If the truth comes from the mouth of kids, then this one picture show there action, i immortalized this young girl trampling a pro life sign.

the pro choice movement clearly has pre youth on there side

I took this photo after over hearing the group planing to sneak out of the hill and come back in time for the roll call, before the start of the march, commitment of our youth wanting to be there to save life.

The pro life are outspoken and explicit

Commitment was on both side

All that being said and shown for all to see my view is that i had more fun taking pictures of the pro choice they actually wanted to be there and also they had solidarity being in far lesser number.

but that is my point of view and not yours.

An unexpected find

After a visit to our land in the Curran region we found a place called Canadian Classic Cars

They are restoring old cars and selling them to collectors from all around 

 

 

 

The gentlemen  working that day let us go around taking photos as we pleased, way cool

he told me that there is a classic day coming on the 29 of may, it takes place in front of there establishment in the parking lot , it is for all amateur restorers to show there pride an joy.
